We came to the Algarve to buy a home for the golden visa. Not understanding initially all the requirements of homes that qualify and how the real estate agencies and agents work, we truly were blessed to find Sonia. Sonia, unlike many of the other agents we worked with was able to easily navigate and work with other agencies to show us properties that fit our families needs not just the properties that the individual agents held since there isn’t a central market that all agents dip into like in the US. Sonia as well had very good knowledge knowing which homes were legal and qualified for the visa which kept the search on track in a very competitive buying market. I really can’t give Sonia enough accolades, our home took 3 months to close which we finished from the US, she kept the sale on track, scheduled surveyors, chased the parties to stay on time. After the sale was completed she setup our pool and garden service, worked with the lawyer to take care of bills and coordinated with the seller to enter and checked on the house. As Americans Sonia got us, if you are considering buying avoid the the hassle we initially found and go straight to Sonia. Our journey would not have been possible without her! Thank you Sonia!!
